About:
Erin is a dedicated counselor and adjunct professor at CWI. Since 2015, she has been passionate about helping students navigate their challenges and achieve their goals. Erin recently joined CWI’s counseling team and has been teaching PSY 110, Drug Use and Misuse in the United States, since Fall 2022.
Most recently, Erin worked helping students with disabilities set employment and post-secondary goals, acting as their advocate, counselor, and case manager. Erin's counseling style is nonjudgmental and open-minded, everyone has a story. She believes in empowering students to feel confident in their own abilities. She emphasizes the importance of learning tools to lower anxiety and set realistic expectations, helping students manage their stress and achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Erin loves staying active by going to the gym, paddleboarding, and skiing. She also enjoys spending time with her kids and her two dogs. Some of her favorite personal accomplishments include running a marathon and summitting Mount Borah, Idaho’s tallest peak.
