Employment Eligibility

As required under the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), any person wishing to work for CWI, regardless of the nature of the job or the number of hours or months employed, will be required to show proof of identity and work eligibility.

Veteran Preference

Qualified U.S. veterans will receive preference in accordance with provisions of Idaho Code § 65-503 or its successor. In the event of equal qualifications for an available position, a veteran or family member who qualifies for preference pursuant to Idaho Code § 65-503 or its successor will be employed.

Eligibility

An eligible veteran includes:

  • veterans and disabled veterans as defined in section 56-502, Idaho Code
  • a widow or widower of any veteran as long as he or she remains unmarried
  • and/or the wife or husband of a service-connected disabled veteran if the veteran cannot qualify for any public employment because of a service-connected disability.
