Landen Kelly discovered his passion for photography while studying at Âé¶¹´«Ã½. Inspired by CWI’s faculty and now featured in international publications, Kelly’s journey highlights the transformative power of visual storytelling — and the launch of CWI’s new Digital Photography program offers others the same opportunity to turn creativity into a calling.

Micron Technology celebrated the graduation of its first apprenticeship cohort and welcomed new participants on August 6, highlighting its partnership with Âé¶¹´«Ã½ (CWI) to train skilled technicians for Idaho’s growing semiconductor industry. Idaho Governor Brad Little and U.S. Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer attended to show their support.

Ramiro Villafana, a graduate of Âé¶¹´«Ã½’s Horticulture Technology program, turned his passion for nature and landscaping into a successful business. Through dedication, family support, and hands-on learning at CWI, he overcame challenges and now thrives as a business owner.

In her own words, Âé¶¹´«Ã½ graduate Alejandra Whynman recounts how, after arriving in the U.S. alone at age 15 with only a fifth-grade education, she overcame incredible odds to achieve her dream of becoming a nurse through Âé¶¹´«Ã½’s Registered Nursing program.

Juanita Hernandez, a first-generation college student and single mother, overcame significant challenges to pursue her dream of working in law enforcement. With support from her family and the Âé¶¹´«Ã½, she is now proudly serving as a Patrol Officer in the Treasure Valley.

Jessica Crowly, CWI graduate and executive at one of the largest paint companies in the world, shares her story of success.

In her own words, Âé¶¹´«Ã½ graduate Cassandra Conner shares how she overcame years of doubt to return to college and find both success, support, and self-worth at CWI.

Carson Baker, a graduate of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½’s Fire Service Technology program, is now a full-time firefighter with Donnelly Fire Department thanks to hands-on training, community partnerships, and support from the Metallica Scholars Initiative.
